With your help we can continue to provide support, for people with scoliosis and fund research into the causes and treatment of the condition
We've got your back!
To help make your fundraising event a success you might find some of the following tools helpful. There is also some practical guidance on setting up a Virgin Money charity page and how to pay in your fundraising money. Don't forget you can always contact the friendly SCF team if there is anything else that you need or if you have any questions about making your event run smoothly.
If you are doing a sponsored event you can download your very own SCF sponsorship form for people to fill in.
Set up your online fundraising page!
We are now on Virgin Money Giving as well as My Charity Page! Virgin Money Giving is a not-for-profit venture, meaning that more of your donations come straight to the Scoliosis Campaign Fund, and it's very user-friendly too! Just go to our SCF page on Virgin Money Giving and click start fundraising to set up your page.
How to set up your My Charity Page profile
Setting up your profile on www.mycharitypage.com couldn’t be easier! Go to the site and choose ‘sign up’ from the top right-hand corner, then follow the steps to create your profile. Mycharitypage will then send you a confirmation email: just click on the link and you’re all signed up!
Once you have a profile you can set up your fundraising page. Go to Your Events and Add an Event, and then when prompted, search for ‘scoliosis’ and select Scoliosis Campaign Fund. You can then add in all the details for your fundraising challenge, whatever it is!
Using posters at your event can draw peoples attention to your stand. Posters are also a really great way to raise awareness of SCF and help us to recruit new, enthusiastic fundraisers. Download some of our fantastic posters to encourage more people to raise funds:
If you are running a small event then our quick and easy collection box might be of use! Simply print it out on a piece of card, cut around the edge and stick it together. If you need a larger plastic collection tin, contact the SCF team:email@example.com.
SCF information sheet
When you run an event for SCF it might help to have a little bit of information handy so that you can tell supporters about the work that we do. We have come up with this useful information sheet (PDF 167KB) for you to refer to.
