Support us

To support SCF you don't just have to participate in an event, there are also other ways that you can help people with scoliosis.  Making a donation and sponsoring our fundraisers makes a really big difference, as does volunteering your time to be one of our fantastic events crew.

One-off donation

Online: We can now accept donations online via www.mycharitypage.com a website dedicated to helping charities raise funds.

By Post: Please send your completed donation form (PDF 70KB) along with your cheque made payable to ‘Scoliosis Campaign Fund’ to:

Regular giving

If you wish to make a regular donation, please do so downloading our standing order form (PDF 71KB) and sending your instruction to us by post.

Give As You Earn (GAYE)

This is a government scheme whereby a regular sum can be deducted from your gross salary (before tax is deducted) as a charitable donation meaning that you receive immediate tax relief.  This means that a monthly donation of £10 straight out of your payroll, actually only costs you £7.80 (or even less if you are in the higher tax bracket)!

It is really easy to set up and it means so much to us because we can plan ahead knowing that we have a regular stream of income; plus you have the benefit of immediate tax relief.  If you would like to set this up simply ask your Payroll Department if they already operate a Give As You Earn scheme and, if so, how you sign up.  If not, then ask if they could set one up by contacting the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) who will be more than happy to help.

Legacies

Having made provision for family and friends, many people choose to leave a gift to charity. Charitable bequests can be tax efficient; gifts to charity are entirely free of tax. For more information on how to set up a legacy for the Scoliosis Association (UK) please visit the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF).

All funds from SCF activities will be divided equally between SAUK and BSRF. Thank you very much for your support.
